When popular and loved veteran Nollywood Clem Ohameze diapered from the Nollywood industry and Public eyes, little did his fans know that the actor was suffering and fighting for his dear life after a car accident.
The actor who got popular with the likes of Kanya. O . Kanayo, Nkem Owo, Jenevive Nnaji, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Patience Ozokwor and a long list of others weren’t able to sustain his fame or build his brand name with thousands of followers on social media. On November 23, 2021, the veteran Nollywood actor surprisingly appeared in a video where he pleaded with Nigerian’s to help him out by praying for him. Explaining his predicaments. He added that he was about to undergo necessary surgery to fix his cervical vertebrae and regain control of his limb, which has been visibly seen in bandages in a few of his photos.
Sadly, social media users misunderstood his request, while some called him out, branding him another veteran Nollywood actor begging Nigerians for money to look after his health. As Clem Ohameze’s tried to clear the air with BBC pidgin saying he isn’t soliciting for funds, his cry for prayers caught the attention of Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the founder and head prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry in Warri, Delta State. The Prophet invited him to his church and, after praying for him, gifted him 8 Million Naira to help with his surgery. The Nollywood actor was shocked, full of emotion. He broke down in tears expressing gratitude and thanking the man of God.
