According to Billboard, industry heavyweights like Universal Music Group (UMG) and HYBE have made significant offers. Getting signed by a record label these days is tough, a lot of young talents perish because there’s no one to groom and sponsor their music careers.
Despite Afrobeats going global, it has become very difficult for young Afrobeats stars to get signed to a record label. Many talented artists are unable to achieve their full potential because they lack the support and guidance of a record label.
