An Explosion on London Underground Station Leaves 29 Injured!

An explosion partially went off at London’s Parson Green station tube carriage, in London earlier today Friday, 15, Sept 2017 leaving 29 people in total injured. The Improvised Explosive Device (IED) incident took place on the  District Line around 8:20 am miraculously, no one died, but those injured were left with flesh burns, scrapes and grazes from running away from the device when it exploded. No one knew who planted the device, however CCTV around the surrounding is being checked to find out who moved the bucket device to its position.

Neil Basu, the senior national coordinator for counter-terrorism policing, accepted it was a terrorist attack.

“We now assess that this was a detonation of an improvised explosive device,” said Mark Rowley, Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner. 

PM, Theresa May condemned the attack as ‘cowardly’.

The situation was quickly controlled by London  Metropolitan police, they also ask anyone with any information about the attack to come forward or contact them on 0800789321.
