Famous Afrobeats singer, Oluwatobiola Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, took to social media to give an appreciatory note for Africa and the world at large following his performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The ‘Buga’ hitmaker, ever since he announced he’d be performing at the World Cup, left Nigerians eager to see their own on the world stage.

However, the wait is finally over as Kizz Daniel finally performed his hit tracks in Qatar this evening, Wednesday, 23rd November.

Following a successful showdown, he took to his Instagram page to thank Africa and the world.

He also accompanied the post with a rare video of himself commanding the massive crowd at the world cup.

In his words

“AS A NAIJA 🇳🇬 BOY I SAY THANK YOU AFRICA 🌍 THANK YOU WORLD 🌎 #fifaworldcup2022 #qatar2022 ‼️”

The singer had earlier taken to social media to share some pictures of him ahead of his performance.

He wrote.

I will be live on the FIFA stage 7pm Naija Time ( 9pm AST ), UNITING THE WORLD WITH MUSIC & FOOTBALL ⚽️.”

Kizz Daniel left fans Confused.

Kizz Daniel has left his fans confused, as well as disappointed over his absence at the FIFA Qatar 2022 World Cup opening ceremony on Sunday, November 20m, 2022.

The ‘Buga’ star had seemingly confirmed he would be performing at the opening ceremony on his social media accounts, months after he expressed interest in performing at FIFA Qatar 2022.

However, his fans became worried when the singer did not show up on stage alongside another Nigerian singer, CKay who was also slated to perform.

The main vocalist of the Korean pop band BTS, Jung Kook, lit up the Al Bayt Stadium during the event, but no Nigerian artiste was seen on stage.

FIFA Confirms Kizz Daniel To Perform At World Cup

FIFA has confirmed that Nigerian singer, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, better known by his stage name, Kizz Daniel will perform at the FIFA Fan Festival event in Doha, Qatar.

This was confirmed by the football governing body on via its verified Instagram page, where it shared a poster of performers.

The ‘Buga’ crooner is expected to perform on November 23.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup, which is the 22nd edition of the competition, will be played from November 20 to December 18 in Qatar.

Other music artists scheduled for performance are Diplo, Nora Fatehi, Trinidad Cordona, and Calvin Harris.

However, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will not be present at the tournament in the Arab country after losing out on a qualification ticket to Ghana back in March.
