Streaming giant Netflix has released the official trailer for its anticipated second African series titled ‘Blood and Water’ ahead of its May 20 première.
Her name is Puleng Khumalo (Ama Qamata), a Cape Town teenager who transfers to an elite high school as she embarks on a search for her sister who was abducted at birth. The South Africa produced series is directed by Nosipho Dumisa.
Popular rapper Nasty C is expected to make his acting début as a movie star in the upcoming series. He stars alongside Natasha Thahane, Thabang Molaba, Gail Mabalene, Sello Maake ka Ncube, Xolile Tshabalala and Cindy Mahlangu.
