Prominent Nigerian music mogul Don Jazzy has urged caution over the prospect of going to the salon for haircut as cases of Covid-19 are still on the rise in the country.

Don Jazzy recently advised fans and followers on social media to take precautionary measures when visiting barbing salons to get their haircut.

The veteran made this known via his Instagram page where he shared a video of himself in the salon and then used the medium to warn against reckless outdoor behaviours amid the pandemic.

In his post, Jazzy reminded Nigerians of the importance of adhering strictly to health guidelines issued to curtail the spread of the novel coronavirus.

He said: “It feels like we are forgetting that the world is still battling Coronavirus. The numbers are still going up. Let’s not make all the sacrifices we have made to be in vain. We must still take precautions.”

He then noted that one of the ways he takes precaution is when he is in the barbing salon. The music veteran encouraged people to ask their barbers to wash or sanitise their hands before cutting their hair, noting that such will help to curtail the spread of the disease.

He added: “one of many precautions that I take is while I cut my hair. If you are going to visit the salon please be careful. Let me know one of the precautions that you also take. Show me with the #COVID-19StopsWith Me.”
