Sony Records/RCA superstar, Wizkid made history at Royal Albert Hall last night, September 29th after his massive sold out concert. He has become the first African artist to sell out the famous royal venue.
The popular Nigerian artist took his time, making fans wait for almost 2 hours, but when he stepped out, he gave his fans hit after hit for the one-hour set, starting the night with songs from hay days with EME to his rise as Africa’s number one artist.
The show was broadcast live on his official Facebook page. When he performed ‘Ojuelegba’, his fans went wild, he had to perform it twice.
Wearing a defined coat of many colors which made him look outstanding, the Starboy Entertainment boss also brought out Wande Coal as a guest artist for the night. He will be donating proceeds from the show to victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.
As he closed the music event, he told the audience that his next move is to sell out the O2 Arena next year.
