Nollywood hot couple Christ Attoh and Damilola Adegbite are no longer together after 2 years of marriage and a child. The couple has been divorced for a few months now, rumor first surfaced a few months back when Damilola Adegbite removed ‘Attoh’, as part of her name on Instagram and went only with ‘Adedamee’.
Ghanaian heartthrob and now ex-husband Chris Attoh confirmed the news that they’re divorce during an exclusive interview with Bella Naija.
He said.
I believe throughout our marriage, It has probably been one of the most challenging things we have ever done, however, the key word is balance. At times when we both had to work, our parents would be there to hold the fort. God bless family because they were and still are very supportive.
However, since the divorce, we are obviously now reworking things to create a new balance between work, spending time with and raising our son.
About his now Ex-Wife
Dami is a wonderful woman and an amazing mother. Despite our differences, she and I will always be friends. So more than anything we will find ways to continue to make sure that Brian can still have a balanced upbringing filled with love and support. Both our families have been and are still very supportive in helping us take care of our son Brian when we can’t be there due to work.
Chris also let his fans know that he never cheated on his wife during a podcast interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat. He said
“I can gladly say that I never cheated because I didn’t find a reason to. when you keep yourself busy as well, it helps”.
When asked if he has any regrets about the crashed marriage, Chris Attoh said
“I feel like life is too short for any regrets. everything that happens, happens for a reason. I have a beautiful baby boy, I have a wealth of experience and I have a lot of work to do. There are a lot of youths out there that needs to be guided”.
Both celebs are doing great for themselves, Chris Attoh buries his head in more acting roles while Damilola is doing greater things for herself include acting and representing brands. She had also gone to build a new project just for women called ‘PROJECT ALPHA WOMAN” amongst other things. However, she never confirmed the divorce.
