Nomination opens for the largest gathering of influential women of colour from around the globe. The prestigious award is open to all women 18 and above, who are impacting lives around them. You can nominate yourself or be nominated.

Tagged #MindYourMind Divas of Colour 2018 festival will raise awareness on mental health issues as it affects women of colour specifically.

The 5th annual global Divas of Colour International women’s festival will see hundreds of global women burst into London in March to celebrate, recognise and discover the best and contributions of women of colour. Opportunity to network with global influencers, leading women as we raise awareness on mental health.

Now a 2 day festival, Divas of Colour festival will kicking off with fashion show casing outstanding world class designers, and trade exhibition from high quality reputable brands targeted to women and few VIP designers opening their showroom for media influencers, bloggers and buyers on the first day, following on for the second day with conference focusing on mental health issues tagged #MindYourMind and to conclude later on the day with award dinner recognising the contributions, talent and the best of women of colour.

This year making our 5th year, 50 outstanding women will be recognised for their excellence, contributions and consistent drive to uphold the dignity of women of Colour dignity, for lifting other women up and for shinning light on the world around them. Nominations are now open for 10 categories which will have 10 women shortlisted for each category and 5 winners to eventually emerge from each of the categories.

The two days event will see influential women of colour from around the globe gather to celebrate their achievements whilst having the platform to address the issues of mental health as it affects women of colour specifically.

Designers and exhibitors can also now register to showcase or exhibit their brands to thousands of Divas of Colour global audience.

About Divas of Colour:

Husband and Wife duo, Emeka & Faustina Anyanwu co-founded Divas of Colour in 2014 and since it has become the largest platform for women of colour from around the globe.

The forum was created to give women of colour a voice, bring them together, give the contributions, achievements and beauty of women of colour visibility. In this era of so much talk about diversity, it seems that ethnic women have been shoved aside whilst everyone else’s issues are being addressed.

The flagship festival is held every spring, in March, to commemorate International women’s month with activities such as Fashion show, Trade show, conference, and awards. Each year, Divas of Colour focuses on raising awareness on particular issue affecting women of Colour in particular.

The organisation has dealt with Depression, domestic violence, Protect the girl Child, Gynaecological cancers and in 2018, will be focusing on mental health awareness which has been tagged #MindYourMind.
