The 2nd marriage of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II and Olori Wuraola has crashed and a new queen has already been picked for the Ooni because Ile-ife tradition forbids that Ooni to leave without a wife, hence why wife number 3 will soon be announced.
According to a report, his now ex-wife Olori Wuraola was accused of many ‘unpublishable’ things and lack of commitment to her marital vows. This is almost similar accusations about and reasons why he had to divorce his first wife Ex-Queen Adebukunola Ogwunusi.
The suspect of his first marriage breaking down was after his coronation in December 2015. Short early 2016, their marriage was reported to have fallen apart with the famous ‘irreconcilable differences’ cited as the cause. It was revealed by some inside sources that 1st wife Mrs Adebukunola Ogwunusi never took on the role of the Olori and even never moved into the Palace.
When Ooni of Ife and Olori Wuraola came to London early this year for Commonwealth summit, which took place on March 24th, 2017. The body language of the couple was very obvious and came across as couple who do not communicate or had any sort of affection for each other, well who knew there was fire in the mountain? They then royal couple got married on March 12, 2016, and their marriage only lasted just a little over a year.
Because Ile-ife tradition forbids that the Ooni be without a wife this is the reason why he is seemingly quick move to marry another woman. The new queen is said to be of Yoruba decent and will be revealed in September 2017. Olori Wuraola is from Benin, Edo state.
