Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party and former governor of Anambra State, Peter Gregory Obi, lashed out at the spokesperson of the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign and former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, at the Arise TV town hall meeting on Sunday night.
Obi lost his temper after Melaye described his supporters as ‘noisemakers’ and also continued to interrupt his speech with snide remarks and gestures.
Peter Obi who could no longer tolerate the PDP presidential campaign spokesperson’s actions, angrily confronted him publicly, while also pointing out that Dino Melaye was lumping supporters of other parties with his at the Arise TV town hall meeting.
The Labour Party presidential candidate said;
“I won’t take this. That colonel is an NNPP person and you’re saying it’s Obi People. Dino, please stop that! I have taken enough from you here. Why are you always calling me?”

Dino Melaye, within 24 hours, replied to Peter Obi’s outburst against him at the Presidential town hall meeting that took place on Sunday, the 6th of November 2022. In the new video posted on his social media, Dino Melaye said he did not do anything to warrant the drama.
