The official Mr & Miss Nigeria UK Cultural Pageant took place on Sunday 4th October at The Venue in Great Portland Street, London. The glamours and prestigious event at the end announced 2 deserving winners after a very interesting battle among the contestants. Handsome Contestant number 3, Theo Ogundipe, and beautiful Contestant number 4, Jane Ezeanaka were crowned Mr & Miss Nigeria UK 2015.
Mr and Miss Nigeria UK is an annual Cultural Pageant aimed at empowering and enriching the Nigerian culture in the UK. Organised to take place during the celebration of UK’s black history month couldn’t be more perfect. The event was hosted By Remel London.
Mr & Miss Nigeria UK Cultural Pageant aims to bring the Nigerian diaspora community together through arts, to celebrate the diversity and culture among young Nigerian talent and to celebrate the beauty of Nigeria and its people.
The night was indeed a great one, they 12 contestants carried themselves so well, showing talent and passion for their mother land, Nigeria. From a beautiful cultural outfit, to showing their respective talents and notable knowledge about the mother land. The Venue was packed to the full by both supporters, friends and families. The team and organisers should be proud because they did not only put up a beautiful pagent, they also gave young British Nigerians a great platform to express themselves, show their passion and learn more about their home country, Nigeria.
