Twitter Ban Hits 100 Days: Discussions With The Nigerian Government Have Been Productive – Twitter Spokesman

Social media behemoth, Twitter has disclosed that its meetings with the Nigerian government on bringing back its services in the country have not been futile.

A Twitter Spokesman in a post, shared to Peoples Gazette on Monday evening as the argumentative ban hits 100 days, said they will keep engaging the Nigerian government to table talks on why Twitter has been disengaged out of business in Nigeria and routes to profer solutions to the matter.

The statement read;

“Discussions with the Nigerian government have been respectful and productive – we look forward to seeing the service restored very soon.
“We continue to engage with the Nigerian government to discuss why Twitter has been blocked and ways to resolve the matter. We are committed to charting a path forward to the restoration of Twitter for everyone in Nigeria.”
