Actress Omotola Jalade Confirms Positive Coronavirus Test

Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade has taken to social media to reveal that she has tested positive for coronavirus.

Omotola says she took ill after contracting Covid-19.

The movie star made this know via her Instagram page on Sunday, August 16, 2020, while giving fans the low down on her whereabouts.

According to the much-loved actress, she’s been observing the isolation protocol after testing positive for the novel virus. The 46-year old mother of four also stated that she is now getting better.

“Hello All, I know Most of you Have been Wondering where I’ve been. Well, i Contracted Covid. I have been ill, in Isolation and Now getting better,* she wrote.

Omotola is a Nigerian actress, singer, philanthropist and one of the icons in the Nigerian Nollywood industry.

She joins the unfortunate list of celebrities in Nigeria to contract the dreaded virus, one that includes singer Paul Okoye and Davido‘s fiancée, Chioma Rowland.
