Singer Burna Boy is still winning with his ‘African Giant’ album more than a year after its release.
Nigerian super singer Burna Boy has added another feather to his cap as his highly acclaimed album ‘African Giant’ has been certified Silver in the United Kingdom.
The music star took to his Instagram page to announce the good news to his fans.

A silver certification in the UK means an album has sold an album equivalent of 60,000 copies. This makes the music star the first Nigerian artist with a certified album in the UK
This came after news that ‘Own It‘ by Stormzy featuring Burna Boy and Ed Sheeran has a two-time platinum certification for selling 600,000 copies.
African Giant was Burna’s 7th body of work. The album was released in 2019 and went on to win Album of the Year at the 2019 All Africa Music Awards and was nominated for Best World Music Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in the same year.
