Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo has expressly described his moving back to Manchester United as the “best decision” he ever made has visibly shown happiness over it.
Ronaldo, who signed from Juventus at the end of the transfer process, scored twice on his second appearance in Manchester United. They won Newcastle 4-1 on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
Before joining United, Manchester City had looked set to sign him.
Ronaldo has now stated that he hopes to help guide United to win silverware.
” It’s the best decision I’ve made. It was the right time,” Ronaldo said in an interview with Telefoot.
“I want to make history, help Manchester to have great results and win trophies.”
Manchester United now turn their attention to the Champions League as they prepare to take on Swiss side Young Boys in their first game of the group stage on Tuesday, September 24.
