American rapper Kanye West has come out to reveal that he is one of the notable celebrities to contract the dreaded coronavirus in the United States.
Rapper Kanye West says he had the coronavirus in February.
The music star made this known during a recent interview with Forbes where he recounted how he felt at the time.
He said: “Chills, shaking in the bed, taking hot showers, looking at videos telling me what I’m supposed to do to get over it. I remember someone had told me Drake had the coronavirus and my response was Drake can’ t be sicker than me!”
Kanye also made it clear that if and when a vaccine is developed, he won’t be getting it. According to him, the coronavirus vaccine might be “the mark of the beast”.
He added: “They want to put chips inside of us, they want to do all kinds of things, to make it where we can’t cross the gates of heaven. I’m sorry when I say they, the humans that have the Devil inside them. And the sad thing is that, the saddest thing is that we all won’t make it to heaven, that there’ll be some of us that do not make it.”
In the same interview, Kanye also said he’s running for president under the advisement of Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.
The United States has now confirmed more than three million cases of coronavirus at the time of this writing, the highest of any country.
