Ace Nigerian music producer Olumide Ogunade, professionally known as ID Cabasa, has waded into the heated debate about the skepticism surrounding the existence of the coronavirus in Nigeria and across the world.
ID Canada believes the novel coronavirus is very much real and has called on people of influence across every level of society to stop stating otherwise.
The music producer recently took to his Instagram page on Thursday, July 9, 2020, where he expressed concern at how the opinions of those with influence in regards to Covid-19 tend to rub off on the masses, regardless of whether they are right or wrong.
He then warned influencers not to air their feelings on Covid-19 if there are no facts to back it up.
He said: “You are influential and people will do without thinking whatever u say either in the right context or otherwise… And if there’s a strong conviction about what you feel please be clear so as not to confuse people.”
More than five hundred thousand people have died of coronavirus worldwide, according to official count at the time of this report – with Nigeria recording 684 deaths.
