Nse Ikpe Etim to Star in Kemi Adetiba’s Sequel For ‘King of Boys’

Renowned Nollywood actress Nse Ikpe Etim has announced that she will be taking a role in the highly anticipated sequel to Kemi Adediba‘s crime thriller, ‘King of Boys’.

The actress made the announcement via her Instagram page on Monday, August 17, 2020. She shared a photo of her script with the caption: “It’s official. I am joining the King of Boys’ family on its sequel. Thank you @kemiadetiba for your inspiring work and I cannot wait to create magic with you and the rest of the team.”

The upcoming sequel will feature new faces, mostly from the just concluded #KOBstayHomeChallenge. And thee newest additions include Temitope Olowoniyan who will play the role of Aisha Banjo, Amanda Oruh, Jide Oyegbile, a few others, and Nse Ikpe-Etim.

Director Kemi Adetiba confirmed Etim’s involvement in the movie by sharing her post on her Instagram page. Kemi expressed the long-held desire to work with the actress and then stated that she will play the role of Jumoke Randle 

King of Boys was one of the biggest Nollywood movies in 2018. Featuring an impressive performance from Sola Sobowale, the movie has gone on to become the fourth highest-grossing Nollywood movie of all time.
