The flamboyant media personality says life has been tough after she tested positive for the Covid-19 virus despite taking precautions.
Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa has revealed that she recently tested positive for coronavirus and is yet to fully recover.
The radio girl made the disclosure via the latest episode of her blog, Toke moment, released on Thursday, October 29, 2020.
Sharing her Covid-19 experience, Makinwa explained that she didn’t know how and where she contracted the virus, but the first thing she did after the diagnosis was to reach out to those who came in contact with her.
Makinwa also noted that she is not out of the woods yet, but hoped the worst days are behind her.
The show presenter, therefore, advised fans to be very careful out there and follow all the measures and protocols as the second wave of the deadly virus forewarned by health experts has arrived.
“Hello guys, I have been missing in action, I caught Covid 19 and my experience was not so great,” she wrote on Instagram. “I am not 100 percent yet but I can say my worst days are behind me. The virus is real, pls be safe out there. Watch, Like, Share and Comment too. It’s my birthday in less than a week, I honestly just want to be back one my feet. Say a prayer for me, I’ll chat with you guys soon xoxo.”
