Tennis champions sisters, Serena Williams and Venus Williams will be going head to head with each other on Friday in the third round of the US Open. The moment fans often wait for.
Serena defeated Magda Linette and Carina Witthöft on Monday and Tuesday respectively to advance to the third round in the US Open.
Venus won Svetlana Kuznetsova and Camila Giorgi to advance to the third round.
Serena said:
I wouldn’t say it’s exciting. But it’s definitely going to be a really tough match for me. Once again, it’s early in the tournament. You know, it is what it is.
Unfortunately and fortunately we have to play each other. We make each other better. We bring out the best when we play each other. It’s what we do. So, I think we’re used to it now.
