The 2017 MOBO Awards went down last night and it indeed leave up to the hype with spectacular performances from artists such as our very own Davido, Cardi B, Krept & Konan, Stormzy. Hollywood actor Idris Elba was honoured with a “Paving The Way” Award.

- Best Grime Act and
- Album of the year
Starboy Wizkid bagged Best International Act, beating Drake, SZA, Cardi B, JAY-Z, Tiwa Savage and Kendrick Lamar
Davido bagged Best African Act beating; Eugy, Jula, Maleek Berry, Mr Eazi and Sarkodie
