Controversial Nigerian media girl Toke Makinwa has joined the growing number of people calling for China to be punished for its role in the outbreak of the dreaded coronavirus.
The coronavirus outbreak was first identified in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. The outbreak has grown into a pandemic, spreading across several countries of the world including Nigeria which has thirty-five confirmed cases of the contagious respiratory disease.
On Monday, March 23, 2020, Toke Makinwa took to her Twitter page where she expressed her anger over China’s animal food source.
The controversial media personality seemed to be of the opinion that the virus was gotten from animals as she advised them to stop eating certain animals.
According to her, the whole world is suffering as a result of China’s appetite for strange animals. She then called on the world to fine the Asian nation when the virus eventually ends.
“Not to even lie I am low key mad at china, the whole world should fine them when all of this is over, the whole world is paying dearly for it. Stop eating certain animals #Sigh,” she tweeted.

As expected, Toke’s post got a lot of Nigerians talking on the microblogging platform
Many were of the opinion that coronavirus did not come from animals but was cultivated in a lab. While others advised her to focus on her expertise.
