A student of the Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma, identified simply as Celestina, has been killed by unknown gunmen while on her way home after her induction.
The deceased was said to be returning home to her family in Abuja when she was shot dead by yet-to-be identified assailants.
The devastating news of her death comes just 13 days after she was inducted into the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria.
Before her passing, Celestina was a two- times vice president of an organization, Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental Students (FECAMDS) Nigeria.
News of her death has left many Nigerians in a deep state of sorrow as they commiserate with the family and friends of the deceased.
