Nollywood actress and producer, Roseline Sanni-Ajose aka RSA, received a recognition leadership award for her outstanding contribution as a theatre nurse in the NHS Sector at the NHS at 70 celebrated by Nigerian Healthcare professionals in the UK.
The NHS at 70 Excellence Awards was organised by the Nigerian Healthcare Professionals UK (NHCPUK). The award night held on Saturday 23rd March 2019 and unveiled a powerful list of 70 Most Outstanding Nigerian Healthcare Professionals in the United Kingdom.
The winners 70 winners emerged from a list of 207 shortlisted finalists selected from a total of 312 nominations entered by their colleagues and the general public for the highly valued award.
The citation and biographies of the nominees who were screened by an independent panel of judges assembled by the organisers adorned the souvenir event brochure. The outcome of the highly competitive process is the result of a record-breaking gathering of NHS healthcare professionals of Nigerian origin ever gathered under one roof.
With over 10,000 Nigerian workforces in the NHS, it was indeed an achievement for UK based theatre nurse and filmmaker, RSA to have emerged from the hundreds of nominated individuals in various disciplines in the healthcare sector.
The award was presented to RSA by Federal Hon. Minister for Health, Prof Adewole.
After RSA’s first production, LABO – Life is a journey’, the working mother of two released her second movie, IN A STRANGE LAND, in 2017, a film that explored modern day Slavery/human trafficking. She was interviewed by BBC Newsday in London on the Topic Modern Day Slavery.
Her movie scheduled for release very soon AFTER THE RAIN is a true-life story of a man who died of kidney Problem in Nigeria. The movie focuses on raising awareness and appeal to the Nigerian Government to please look after the Pensioners’ who had worked and served the Nigeria Government for several years.
The theatre nurse turned actress and filmmaker is delighted with her award and promises to continue using her health care knowledge to educate the world through film making.
