The weekend is mostly known as a time of rest for some, while others still attend to work. However, for most celebrities, it’s a time they tend to attend events, celebrate, attend to other areas of their lives, spend time with family and probably plan for the week.
This time, a number of celebrities got something to celebrate over the weekend.
#1 Rihanna Sets Perform At The OSCARS
The 95th Academy Awards, OSCARS is set to present on 12th March 2023, in a ceremony which holds by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The awards will honor films released in 2022.
The event will be televised in the U.S. by ABC and will be produced by Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss, who is also the director. Comedian and late-night talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel will host the show for the 3rd time, after the 89th and 90th editions of the ceremony in 2017 and 2018.
Over the weekend, Rihanna talks about the event as she posts pictures of her son crying. She writes; “my son when he found his sibling is going to be OSCARS and not him”.
#2 Isha Isatu Sesay Announces Birth Of Her New Child
Famous British Journalist and CEO of OkayAfrica, Isha Isatu Sesay born on 6th January 1976 of Sierra Leonean descent, who worked as an anchor and correspondent for CNN International from 2005-2018, announces the birth of her baby, Naimah Yasmine Kadi Sesay on February 17th at 9.24pm in NYC on her official Instagram page.
She shares pictures of her and the baby as she explains her journey to becoming a mother.
#3 Reality TV Star, Christy O Bags An Ambassadorial Deal
Reality TV Star, Christy O bags an ambassadorial deal for the skin care brand, @rixariskinsecrets. She shares her journey from when she used to suffer from acne and now that she has a clear skin as a result of using the products.
She shares a video showing the journey of her skincare and the products.

#4 Two Housemates Evicted From The Bbnaija House
The Reality TV Show, BBNaija holds its eviction show on Sundays, with the BBNaija host, Ebuka Uchendu and the BBMzansi host, Lawrence Maleka. The Big Brother Naija Housemates who are up for possible eviction, as a result of having the highest number of nominations by fellow housemates. The pair of housemates up for possible eviction gets saved based on the vote counts of fans and viewers, a week before the eviction show. Afterwards, the next pair of housemates to evict the show will be known.
The number of housemates in the BBNaija house is 24. So far, these 11 housemates have faced eviction; Theo Thraw, Sandra, Jaypee, Lukay, Mmeli, Jenni O, Marvin, Yaya, Yemi Cregx, of which Nelisa and Olivia faced eviction over the weekend on Sunday, 5th March, 2023.
