Boys will be boys.

At some point in life, a good number of us have heard this popular household saying often altered by those with male children looking to express the view that childish behaviors, mostly mischievous ones, is typical of boys and should not come as a surprise to anyone when they are exhibited.

Well, top singer Adekule Gold has a message for parents who resort to this popular saying as a way to justify some of the inappropriate attitudes exhibited by their male children.

The singer insists that the “Boys will boys” analogue is a bad strategy adopted by a lazy parent with little or no ability to raise morally correct children.

Adekunle made this known via his Twitter page on Monday, February 24, 2020, where he hammered on the importance of people taking full responsibility for the upbringing of their children.

According to him, anyone who decides to bring a child into this world should well assume the responsibility to raise that child properly.

It’s no longer news that Adekunle Gold is expected to become a father very soon. His wife and fellow music colleague, Simi, is heavily pregnant with the couple’s first child. As a soon-to-be dad, his tweet is likely to turn fans attention towards the paranting style the singer adopts and how he goes about daddy’s duties.
