Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has proudly announced her position as the most followed woman on the microblogging site Twitter NG.
The revelation comes as a data and statistics page unveiled its top 10 most-followed Nigerian handles.
The rankings are dominated by renowned musicians, with Davido leading the pack with 14.58 million followers.
Wizkid closely follows in second place with 12.39 million followers, while Burna Boy secures the third spot with 9.03 million followers.
DJ Cuppy takes the eighth position on the list with 6.23 million followers, surpassing her female colleagues Tiwa Savage, who claims the ninth spot with 6.08 million followers, and Simi, who secures the tenth position with 5.54 million followers.
Notably, these three women are the only females to feature in the top 20 of the most followed Twitter handles in Nigeria.
Reacting to the exciting news, DJ Cuppy took to Twitter to share her accomplishment and playfully challenged anyone doubting the accuracy of the data to “argue with their keypads.”
