The world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, age 32 announces his retirement from professional football. “It was a good experience, I really enjoyed just being in a team and it was different from track and filed and it was fun while it lasted,” he said.
The eight-time Olympian had a brief foray with Australia’s Central Coast Mariners, but it’s now over. “It was fun while it lasted,” he added.
Bolt scored two famous goals on his first start for the Mariners in a friendly against Macarthur South West in October 2018.
The world-renowned sportsman also in 2018 turned down an offer from Maltese club Valletta who were interested in him, reportedly because the club could not meet his wage demands.
Bolt, retired from athletics in 2017. He has said his focus now lies with his various commercial endeavours. “I’m now moving into different businesses, I have a lot of things in the pipeline, so as I say, I’m just dabbling in everything and trying to be a businessman now.” He added
