Meet the latest billionaire on Forbes business magazine, Kanye West whose net worth has been valued at $1.3 billion.
Kanye’s new billionaire status was made known by Forbes which says it finally added the Ye coroner to its list after he provided an eye-catching glimpse into his personal finances.
The flames of Kanye’s wealth is fanned by his bumper Yeezy sneaker line with Adidas which Forbes says is “one of the great retail stories of the century.” A pair of Yeezy sneakers sells for as much as $200 in the United States and elsewhere, according to multiple online retail stores.
The new money status fulfills his long desire to be recognized as a billionaire by Forbes following several declinations by the business magazine for lack of proof.
Much of the rest of Kanye’s wealth comes from real estate he owns, the magazine said.
