Canada-based Comedian and MC Morris has revealed why comedian Ali Baba and actor Osita Iheme, better known as Pawpaw, were banned from Canada.
Ali Baba and Pawpaw, along with Akin and Yomi Fabiyi, were slated to perform at MC Morris’s event, but Ali Baba and Pawpaw were denied entry into the country.
Explaining why they were denied entry, he claimed that Ali Baba’s visa expired last month and all efforts to renew it proved abortive.
He, however, didn’t state clearly why Pawpaw was denied entry but had promised his fans that he would do a make-up show for them at a discounted rate.
“We have been denied voluntary entry. We were told to go get our Visa ready
We wanted to come in and entertain you. Pawpaw and I would go back, but Akin and Yomi Fabiyi would stay”, Ali Baba said.

Bovi reveals why he was banned from the US
Last year, comedian and actor Bovi Ugboma disclosed that he had been banned from entering the United States.
He revealed he was banned from entering the U.S. after a conflict he had with a visa-issuing officer.
The 42-year-old made the revelation when a fan asked him to come to Massachusetts to perform.
“I’m banned in the USA,”Bovi retorted, adding “I am a citizen of the world. Except for Yankee where I’m banned”
While explaining the reason for the ban, he said, “ill luck. Met a charity-like visa-issuing officer. Egos clashed. I was labeled. I go dey carry shoulder.”
In February 2022, Bovi revealed that he was almost accused of stealing at a London hotel until he told the hotel management to “google me”.
