The Big Search is a reality TV Show in search of Television Presenter of African Descent in the UK. The aim of the show is to provide the African community living in the UK the opportunity to pursue their dream in the art of Television presenting as they are hardly given that opportunity and also aim to entertain viewers.
The winner of The Big Search 2014 get to present his/her own TV Show as well as a weekend holiday pack to an exotic location and much more.Auditions will be held in London, Manchester and Birmingham.
The judges will select 12 finalists who will be sent to a house for a month to exert their effort in different areas of TV Presenting such as News Reading, Reporting, Voxpop and much more.
Meet the Judges:
Pauline Long: is a Kenyan born British media personality, the founder of the prestigious BEFFTAAwards, (Black, Entertainment, Film, Fashion, Television and Arts Award) she is also the CEO and presenter of The Pauline Long show on Ben tv UK, an Inspirational speaker and a charity owner. Pauline Long is a well known media personality in the UK, she has also won numerous awards such as Most Inspirational female, EBR Awards for championing Black and Ethnic Minority Vision just to name a few.
Evelyn Obahor:Is a british born Nigerian media personality. She has worked in the Media industry both in Nigeria and in the UK for over 27 years, she enjoy inspiring people through the work she does and this has been her life. Evlyen owns and runs Floodlight Broadcasting Network Ltd. This company manages shows such as The Justeve Show: Where Evlyen interview celebrities and inspirational people, Hey Lets Talk: a talk show that looks into relationships issues, she is also the CEO and creator of The big Search.
Sinazo Yolwa: Sinazo Yolwa is a South African model, actress, MC and tv presenter best known for hosting the SABC3 entertainment variety programme The A List.In 2013 she made her debut as the host of the third season of dance reality show So You Think Dance on SABC1. She is currently the new host on entertainment gossip show The Real Goboza on SABC1.
