‘IN EVERY EGG, LIES A CHICKEN, BUT IT TAKE THE CRACK OF THE EGG FOR CHICKEN TO EMERGE’. Ferdinard Senyo Lawson.

‘I have keenly observed how chicken, for example, is hatched. It takes the cracking of an egg for the chicken to emerged. The crack opens or gives the chicken the opportunity to come beautifully.  Your life is designed to be beautiful. You are born to be great. You are powerful and destined to succeed. However, just like the chicken in the egg, you have to break through the cracks around you to emerge a champion.

Look and listen to me. In life, you will make mistakes. You will fall down, you will make bad decisions and perhaps you will find yourself in the wrong place with the wrong people. None of these makes you a bad person or failure. From these mistakes, falling and possible fallout with people will allow you learn to know yourself better and see everything around you in the right perspective. These are the moments you get to see the real people around you, seeking or looking out for your success or failure.

Sometimes, the thick cloud covers our views and influences our judgements making things unclear. No matter what happens to you, never allow the mistakes to mess you up, rather, let them make you into what you are really born to be. People will always be people. So will pretend to be true to you until trouble engulfs you like fire for them to fly away like birds into their beautiful sky.

Never give up in the midst of all these. At time goes by, a lot of these things will make a great lot of sense to you.

Remember, not everyone around you is going to be there looking out for your best interests, but for their selfish interest on how to milk you. Be vigilant in the midst of your low moments. Nothing last forever. Just as the dark sky doesn’t last forever, your conditions will not last forever. Regardless of how terrible things lurk around you, you have your life to live the champion you are destined to be in life.

THE BENEFIT OF CRACKS IN YOUR LIFE

CREATIVE: To become a champion in life, you must be creative with your talent and gifting. Don’t just use them in their raw material form. Be ready to develop and deploy them to add value to your world. You are also positive in your thinking.  The thoughts you have about yourself and people in your life are very calculated. You are creative with your words and how to resolve issues when they arrive. Creative people are more often loveable people.

RESPONSIBLE: Responsibility leads to relevancy. Most successful individuals who want to become a champion in their field, take responsibility for their personal development, growth and productivity. Never shift any responsibility or blame on anyone. The good thing about accepting is that it makes you accountable for everything that happens to you in life. You are able to develop action plans for the next move of your life and for actions find solutions to difficult problems more quickly.

ASSERTIVE: Being assertive is one of the greatest things that happens to those who have been cracked by challenges, troubles and painful events. You are more aware about your attitude to things better. You don’t just do things any how and anyway. You adopt an attitude that you are just as important and useful as anybody else. You stay in your lane to function appropriately without being undermined by the achievement and efforts of others. You are able to go after what you want without fear. You are more courageous in your approach to life. You are aware of your emotional needs and empower yourself when you need to. You ‘DO NOT’ allow things to get over you again.

COMMUNICATIVE: Not everyone can communicate properly. Some people are not able to express their feelings and emotions to others simply because they have not been challenged enough or encouraged to do so. So, they find it very difficult to stand and communicate with the outside world. Communication is not limited to speaking alone. There are other forms of communication which most people find difficult to identify or discover. Our body language speaks volume to our world than the words we express. The way we listen and allow others to speak say lots about our communication skills.

KNOWLEDGEABLE: Knowledge is power and a force that determines one’s success or championship in life. The things we go through in life help us to gain knowledge as to when, how, why and what to do some things at a given time. Having gone through a painful event teaches and gives you knowledge on how not to do that again. You learn from the mistakes and never repeat them. This knowledge serves as a fence preventing you from experiencing the same thing again in the future. What you don’t know kills more than what you already know. So, it is wise to gain an applied knowledge as you go through the challenges of life into championship.

SERVICEABLE: No one becomes great in life without serving in one capacity or the other. Serving others through the pain helps to encourage you to know how important your life is. You are able to tell others how some thing happened to you and provide solutions and counsel to them. This is an act of service.

Step up and keep up. You’re indeed a champion in the making. No matter the challenges you encounter in life, don’t throw in the towel. Don’t quit before you are declared the champion. Whatever you go through is what determines your breakthrough and what cracks you, creates you into a champion.
