Following, some celebrity couples have found their partners on social media, while some are still couples, and some could not keep up with the union.
- Chioma Jasmine Okafor
Chioma Jasmine, daughter of the famous actor, Mr Ibu who met her husband on TikTok on February 14, 2022, got married on 28th February 2022.
However, their marriage only lasted for 9 months. Chioma Jasmine ended the marriage as she found out that her husband was once married and divorced and he also has three grown-up daughters which he kept a secret from her.
In her words, she said, “I can’t forgive! I found out that he has 3 grown-up girls; never told me he was married and divorced!”.

- Ebuka Obi-Uchendu
Popular media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and his wife, Cynthia Obianodo got to know each other on twitter, met physically in November 2014, got engaged in April 2015 and got married on 6 February 2016.
Although, till date Ebuka and his wife are still married and blessed with two children.

Popular Nigerian celebrity musicians, Adekunle Gold and Simi met on Facebook, after which they both met physically at a show in Lagos in 2013.
The musician, Simi noted that they went on to become friends, dated and eventually got married. The celebrity couple sealed their love with a low-key traditional wedding in Lagos in January 2019 in the presence of few friends and family.
The celebrity couple, Adekunle Gold and Simi are still happily married with a child.

The popularly known Wellingtons, Banky W the music star and the actress, Adesua who are married with a child met on Facebook. They were best of friends for about a year.
Adesua revealed that their love story started in 2015 after Banky approached her at an event asking her to be his friend.
The Wellingtons got engaged in 2017 after acting as couple in the popular Nollywood movie, ‘The wedding party’.

Famous actor, IK Ogbonna met Sonia on Instagram. According to IK Ogbonna, he was on set when a friend of his showed him Sonia’s picture. A mutual friend gave IK Ogbonna her Instagram handle, and from there they started talking.
IK Ogbonna and Sonia got married in 2015 at a courthouse in Zagreb, Serbia, in Eastern Europe. He had a daughter before Sonia met him.
Although, they have since gone their separate ways.
- Blossom Chukwujekwu and Maureen Esisi
The famous actor, Blossom Chukwujekwu and Maureen Esisi met on Instagram.
Maureen Esisi was the first person to make the move in the relationship, as she initiated a discussion after Blossom had liked many of her photos on Instagram. They got into a relationship for only three months before Blossom Chukwujekwu proposed.
However, their marriage crashed for unclear reasons as they are no longer together.
