Let’s be honest, we all waited in anticipation for this year’s annual Met Gala, one of the biggest fashion events of the year with celebrities and fashion industry striving to show us their weird glamorous costumes. Rihanna, Nicky Minaj, Solange, Kerry Washington among other popular black women seriously represented.

The 2018 event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 7th in New York City, themed “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & the Catholic Imagination” A-list celebs, of course, crawled the red carpet. Black and mixed race women in entertainment represented impressively.
