The largest African Fashion event in the North West of England Passion for African Fashion #PAFASH2019 took place on the 17th August 2019 at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool. The Fashion night was hosted by African Fashion Godfather, The King of Couture Adebayo Jones.
Founded by popular style consultant, Ibiyemi Alabi, the show was attended by fashion-conscious buyers and press members. The annual fashion show showcased designers from across the globe which include, 25 Runway Designers & 35 Exhibitors.
Special Guests on the evening includes; The Lord Mayor of Liverpool at the time Cllr Christine Banks, Deputy Mayor of Liverpool Cllr Gary Millar, NDDIS Director Chief Bimbo Roberts Folayan, Dr Karen Johnson, Dr. Sylvia Forchap-Likambi to name a few.
Also in attendance includes 12-year-old best selling author, Layoya Likambi, who was also a guest speaker at the event.
PAFASH is the only African Fashion show in Liverpool which features local and international Designers and Exhibitors and classy runway display. The event which happens in the month of August annually is in its 2nd year and is growing stronger by the year. PAFASH is the perfect event where Fashion meets runway and where exhibitors meet beauty and fashion lovers.
