Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has taken to social media to condemned the auctioning of African migrants as slaves in Libya. Many Nigerians migrants are said to be majority of the slaves.
In a post on his Twitter, the president described the act as appalling and unacceptable, adding that the government is working to bring back Nigerians stranded in Libya. He said.
We have also started bringing back home all Nigerians stranded in Libya and elsewhere. We will ensure they all return home safely and are rehabilitated.

Ghanian president Nana Akufo-Addo also reacted to the disturbing report on twitter.
