Popular singer Sade celebrated her sixth birthday on January 16th 2019 and the world remembered to celebrate the iconic singer. Born in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, on January 16, 1959, Sada created amazing timeless music and is the first Nigerian to win a Grammy.
Her self-titled band released their iconic debut album, Diamond Life, in 1984.
She is also the most successful Solo Artiste in British history, having sold over 110 music albums with over 50million sales.
Once during an interview, she was asked about consistent music, Shade said. “I only make records when I feel I have something to say. I’m not interested in releasing music just for the sake of selling something. Sade is not a brand.” Legend!
