Fresh from having a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony, Nina Ivy of BBNaija has taken to social media to emphasis that her bride price was paid in full by her husband in a bid to quell several social media gossips doing the rounds about the irregularities that occured during the ceremony.
Nina made this known via her Instagram page on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, where she shared a video from the ceremony which took place in her hometown of Owerri.
She hammered on the fact that her husband performed all the rites before their traditional wedding was held, including paying her complete bride price.
“I want to thank God Almighty for a successful “Ime ego “ My hubby paid everything in full… You all know how owerri bride price list is 🤣🤣 it’s huge,” she wrote.
The reality TV star also noted that it was their intention to have a quiet ceremony after the rites were performed. But everything changed with the large influx of people who showed up at the compound.
According to the 23-year old, the huge turn up came as a surprise and made her regret not inviting her friends, including those from the BBNaija reality show.
“It was initially meant to be just “ime ego “ and very low key but I was wowed by the crowd and started regretting why I didn’t invite any of my friends 😩😩but thank you all for your understanding, “ she added.
This development comes after Nina became the latest star from the reality TV show to add a Mrs before her name.
She tied the knot with her fiancée in a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony that took place in her hometown in Imo state.
